Content governance framework

For a full year, I was responsible for managing evergreen website content for Microsoft’s public sector marketing programs: Microsoft in Health, Microsoft in Government, Microsoft Public Safety and National Security, and Microsoft CityNext. In this time, I built a number of deliverables that helped our team keep their sections of Microsoft’s enterprise website fresh:

  1. Maintenance schedule documents for each main landing page, detailing all sections of the page, the cadence for updating them, and guidance for what types of content should go there
  2. Workflow for content request intake, scheduling, execution, approval, and publishing
  3. Best practice guide for publishing content in the CMS, including quick reference checklists for writing style, imagery, and SEO
  4. Submission templates for blog posts and events
  5. Rolling content audit for government, public safety, and national security sub-pages
  6. SEO scorecard to chart Moz page optimization grades and rankings over time

I completed these deliverables for Microsoft. They are internal and belong to them.
